Domestic and CPL Success
King first gained widespread recognition in the 2019 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) when he finished as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 496 runs. A record-breaking 132 off 72 balls*, the highest individual score in CPL history, was one of his adventures.
He was called up to the national team in 2019 as a result of his CPL and domestic cricket, and on November 14, 2019, he played his first Twenty20 International match against Afghanistan.
