Suryakumar Yadav, often known as SKY, is renowned for his amazing 360-degree strokes and inventive batting. Beginning with the Mumbai domestic cricket team, Suryakumar made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2010 with an incredible score of 73. His real breakthrough came in the 2011-12 season when he scored 754 runs from nine matches.

Suryakumar started his IPL career with the Mumbai Indians in 2011, but already during the 2014-2017 period he had gained recognition while playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders. His returning to the Mumbai Indians in 2018 proved to be magical. He managed to score 512 runs that season, he constantly maintained his good form and was eventually pivotal in Mumbai Indians winning the title back-to-back in 2019 and 2020.

Suryakumar's international career commenced with a T20I debut against England in 2021. He introduced himself with a six off the first ball he faced. In 2022, he made a historic year with three T20I centuries, including memorable knocks against England and New Zealand. He got ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year award.

When India's loss in the 2023 Cricket World Cup final causing distress. Then his moment came in 2024, playing the role of a catalyst in India's success at the T20 World Cup. After the tournament, he took retirement from the format.

Be it audacious stroke play, unmatchable consistency, or a knack for performing under enormous pressure, Suryakumar Yadav has gained traction as one of the most entertaining cricketers on the modern stage.
