Born on November 10, 2001, Riyan Parag Das is a promising talent in Indian cricket, currently playing for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL and for Assam in domestic competitions. He is an impressive batsman and bowler. He is the first player born in the twenty-first century to debut in first-class cricket during the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy season. In the 2022-2023 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he emerged as Assam's top run-scorer, accumulating 552 runs, and also took 10 wickets.

He played a key role in the semifinals of both the 2023 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the 2022–2023 Vijay Hazare Trophy, Assam domestic competitions. Additionally, he became the highest run-scorer and was awarded the Player of the Series in the 2023 Deodhar Trophy, showcasing an outstanding performance.

Riyan's selection for the Indian national T20I team for the series against Zimbabwe in July 2024. His career-best bowling figures included taking three wickets for just five runs in the first Twenty20. He also contributed significantly to the series by scoring a quick 26 runs in the third Twenty20 International.
