Chasing 193, PBKS survived Rashid Khan's late scare thanks to Liam Livingstone's blistering 55 and Jitesh Sharma's last-over six—keeping their playoff hopes alive in style.
Rahul Tewatia's rapid 45 (22)* in the final overs and captain Shubman Gill's fiery knock of 68 off 42 balls helped GT, who chose to bat first, post a formidable total of 192/6 in their 20 overs.Kagiso Rabada (1/28) and Arshdeep Singh (2/32) led Punjab's bowling attack, which kept GT from scoring more than 200 runs.
The Punjab Kings' pursuit: Jonny Bairstow gave PBKS the lead in reply with an incredible fifty off of twenty-four balls. The middle order, led by Liam Livingstone (55 off 30) and Shikhar Dhawan (42 off 28), maintained the momentum.
Rashid Khan (2/25) gave Punjab a late scare by dismissing two important batsmen, but Jitesh Sharma, who finished at 195/5 in 19.3 overs, sealed the victory with a six.
