Led by Fatima Sana, Pakistan will be aiming to secure a spot in the upcoming ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025. The team has named a 15-player squad for the tournament's qualifier, which will take place from April 9-19. Pakistan will host the six-team tournament, with the objective of competing for the remaining two spots at the 13th edition of the 50-over World Cup scheduled for later this year in India.

One notable omission from the squad is bowling all-rounder Nida Dar, who was part of the 19-player pool selected for the training camp ahead of the qualifier.
Fatima Sana, the pace all-rounder who captained Pakistan at last year's ICC Women's T20 World Cup, will continue in her leadership role for this tournament. Meanwhile, Shawaal Zulfiqar makes her return to the national side for the first time since 2023, after being sidelined due to a shoulder injury.
The qualifier tournament will be contested in a round-robin format, with Pakistan facing off against West Indies, Thailand, Scotland, Ireland, and Bangladesh. Each team will play one match against the others, and the top two teams from the group will earn their place in the Cricket World Cup in India.
